Camel Men Top Middlebury, Women Upend Tufts

MIDDLEBURY, Vt.--The Connecticut College swimming and diving teams opened the 2009-2010 season Saturday with a tri-meet against Middlebury College and Tufts University in Middlebury, Vt. The men's team secured a 156-115 win against Middlebury and dropped a 162-132 decision to Tufts. On the women's side, the Camels secured a 155.5 to 138.5 triumph against Tufts but were defeated by a score of 176-111 against Middlebury.

The Connecticut College swimming and diving teams will open the season with a tri-meet against NESCAC rivals Middlebury and Tufts University this Saturday in Middlebury, Vt. Under the direction of head coach Marc Benvenuti, both programs have flourished in recent years.

Camels Place Fourth at NESCAC Championship Walsh, Troy Qualify for NCAA Championship in Highest Finish for Program

MIDDLETOWN, Conn.--The Connecticut College men´s swimming & diving program secured its highest score and placing in a New England Small College Athletic Conference Championship (NESCAC) at Wesleyan University this weekend. The Camels scored 957 points on their way to a fourth place finish.
