Murphy Qualifies for NCAA Championship in 200 Yard Fly

SWARTHMORE, Pa.--Two members of the Connecticut College women´s swimming & diving team competed in the Last Chance Invitational at Swarthmore College this weekend. Sophomore Sarah Murphy (Williamsburg, Va.) stamped her ticket for the 2009 NCAA Championship in the 200 yard butterfly with a winning time of 2:04.24.

Junior Kristen Zarba (Beverly, Mass.) provisionally qualified for the NCAA Championship with a time of 2:06.82 in the 200 yard fly.

HARTFORD, Conn.--Tim Walsh (Lincoln Park, N.J.) provisionally qualified for the 2009 NCAA Swimming & Diving Championship in the 100 yard backstroke and set two school records to lead the Connecticut College men´s swimming team to a 172-88 victory at Bates College Saturday.

Camel Women Win, Men Fall to Coast Guard Zarba Sets School Record, Provisionally Qualifies for NCAA Championship in 200 Yard Fly

NEW LONDON, Conn.--Connecticut College junior Kristen Zarba (Beverly, Mass.) has provisionally qualified for the 2009 NCAA Swimming & Diving Championship in the 200 yard butterfly. Zarba set a school record with a time of 2:09.01 in a dual meet against the Coast Guard at Lott Natatorium Friday night.
